2023 – 2024 (OPENINGS) SUMMERIZING PROGRAM
Pool Opening Service Includes:
- Removal of cover, fold and place in your storage area
- Installing ladders, diving board, handrail, lights, etc
- Reassemble filter and pumps
- Shock pool and start up your system (Shock will be added to pools using chlorine only)
- POOLS CURRENTLY ON A NON-CHLORINE PROGRAM
- Must follow instructions to bring your pool up to the proper chemical level for winterization per your instruction manual.
PLEASE NOTE:
- It is the customers responsibility to remove all the water and leaves from the pool cover and to then vacuum the pool after the opening. Nicholas Pools does not remove leaves left in the pool before the closing. Once the water and leaves have been removed from the cover, add fresh water under the cover to the middle of the skimmer. The pool must be filled to the middle of the skimmer so the service technicians can start up the filter system. Please leave your opening supplies (handrails, returns, baskets, plugs, etc) out. Also ensure that there is electrical supply and running water available for our technicians to complete the opening and start your pump and filter system.
IF ANY OF THE ABOVE ARE NOT DONE OR ACCESS TO YOUR BACKYARD IS NOT AVAILABLE DUE TO LOCKED GATES, YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR A TRIP CHARGE OF $100 AND YOUR OPENING WILL HAVE TO BE RESCHEDULED.
Heater owners should be aware that the service technician will attempt to light the heater at the time of opening. If it does not light, there may be a cobweb build up and need to have the heater cleaned by a professional. (This is a seperate service and needs to be scheduled.)
If your D.E. Filter was not manually cleaned at the time of the opening , it is strongly recommended to do this now at the closing.
